Dylan Marlowe will release his self-titled sophomore album Nov. 6 through Sony Music Nashville and Play It Again Music. The 13-track project, co-produced by Marlowe and Joe Fox, follows his 2024 debut album, “Mid-Twenties Crisis,” and draws from his country and pop-punk influences, including Eric Church, Sum 41 and Blink-182.

Marlowe previewed the album with the release of “In This Boat,” accompanied by a new music video. Written by Marlowe with Michael Tyler, Zach Abend and Thomas Archer, the song focuses on a couple navigating the challenges of their relationship and represents a more relaxed side of the upcoming record. Marlowe said the song differs from some of the album’s more rock-oriented material while still fitting within the project as a whole.

The album features songwriting contributions from Tucker Beathard, Jameson Rodgers, Brent Anderson, Chris Tompkins and others, with the rack list also including previously released material such as “No Coincidence,” along with songs including “Shotgun Seat,” “Wrench In My Plans,” “Catchin’ Strays,” “Death Do Us Part,” “Mother Of A Memory” and “Rock The Jukebox,” which Dylan also shared prior to the album release.  He shared of that song: “I was listening to Alan Jackson’s ‘Don’t Rock The Jukebox,’ and sometimes my brain hears things and goes, ‘What if it was different?’ And that song is perfect already, so this song isn’t an interpolation, but it got my wheels turning. I had this image in my head of this guy going into a bar and wanting to listen to rock music instead of country music after getting his heart broken. It was fun to write – we put a lot of country music in the first chorus, and it just slams in the back half of the song. Can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”

Marlowe will spend the fall performing at fairs and festivals across the United States, with upcoming appearances in Oklahoma, North Carolina and South Carolina. He is also scheduled to make his Stagecoach debut in 2027.
