Sugarland is returning to the road this fall with a new 26-city U.S. tour marking the 20th anniversary of the country duo’s breakthrough album, “Enjoy the Ride.”
The duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush announced The Ride Or Die Tour will kick-off on Oct. 1 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre in Florida and will take Sugarland through venues across the country during October and November, including stops in Charleston, South Carolina; Greensboro, North Carolina; Champaign and La Crosse, Illinois; Green Bay, Wisconsin; Sioux City, Iowa; Rapid City, South Dakota; and several cities in Minnesota and North Dakota and Tennessee before concluding Nov. 21 in Dallas.
Released in November 2006, “Enjoy the Ride” became a defining record for Sugarland, which at the time had evolved into a duo following the departure of founding member Kristen Hall. The album produced several of the group’s enduring songs and helped establish Nettles and Bush as one of country music’s prominent acts. “Enjoy the Ride was such a turning point album,” Nettles said. “It literally catapulted us onto the ride of our lives with a carnival of hits and a life on The Road. We couldn’t let its anniversary pass without marking it as something special with our fans, live and on tour!”
The Ride Or Die Tour also follows Sugarland’s 2024 run with Little Big Town, which supported their collaboration on a cover of Phil Collins’ “Take Me Home” and Sugarland’s EP “There Goes The Neighborhood.” The new tour represents the duo’s latest opportunity to revisit its catalog while celebrating two decades of “Enjoy the Ride.”
