Ashley Cooke is preparing to celebrate the holiday season with wrapped, her first-ever Christmas project. The five-song EP is scheduled for release Nov. 6 through Big Loud Records and Back Blocks Music.
Cooke also released the collection’s title track, which is one of two original songs on the EP, alongside “secret santa.” Written by Cooke, Lauren Hungate, Jimmy Robbins, Alysa Vanderheym and Ben Williams, “wrapped” pairs Christmas nostalgia with a romantic storyline centered on spending a cozy, snowbound holiday with someone special. Jacob Durrett, whose production credits include Morgan Wallen and Cole Swindell, produced the song.
The collection also features Cooke’s versions of three holiday standards: “have yourself a merry little christmas,” “jingle bell rock” and “silent night (with the cooke family).” The final track includes vocals from members of Cooke’s family, bringing a personal touch to the traditional carol.
The release of ‘wrapped‘ follows a busy year for Cooke, whose self-titled sophomore album arrived in August. She is also continuing her baby blues world tour, with dates scheduled into February 2027. With wrapped, Cooke adds a seasonal project to her growing country music catalog while introducing listeners to original holiday material alongside familiar Christmas favorites.
