Brothers Osborne are previewing their upcoming fifth studio album Watertown with the digital release of “Doors (Sellout Edit)”, written by John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Jesse Frasure, Lee Miller, and Chris Pixton.

The duo will release Watertown on Oct. 23 through MCA Nashville, with the album reuniting the brothers with producer Jay Joyce, a longtime collaborator who has worked with the duo on several of its most prominent releases. The 11-track project draws heavily from John and TJ Osborne’s upbringing in Deale, Maryland, a small coastal community whose working-class character and musical roots helped shape the brothers. The Watertown announcement also followed a surprise performance by the duo at The Boathouse in Deale, where they gave hometown fans an early preview of the new material.

Watertown also marks the first Brothers Osborne album to feature guest artists. Cody Johnson appears on the opening track, “Born and Raised Hell,” while Stephen Wilson Jr. joins the duo on “Tough Kid.” Other songs on the album include “R.I.P.,” “Family Business,” “High,” “Bottle It Up,” “Ain’t Killed Me Yet,” “Doors,” “Stubborn,” “Same Ol’ Different Story” and the title track.

The project introduces another release strategy through “Sellout Edits,” shorter versions of selected songs designed for listeners who prefer condensed tracks. Fans can access the complete versions of early releases through Brothers Osborne’s free Family fan club. The duo has already released “R.I.P. (Sellout Edit)” and is now previewing “Bottle It Up (Sellout Edit)” ahead of the album’s arrival. TJ Osborne described the record as a return to the musical foundation the brothers developed before their careers took them to Nashville.
