Rolling Stone is stepping into the live events space with its first-ever music festival, introducing “Stateside,” a one-day Independence Day event set for July 4 at Hutton Brickyards in Kingston.
The Hudson Valley venue, which holds around 4,000 attendees, will host a full day of performances alongside classic holiday touches like local food vendors, an artisan market, and a fireworks finale.
Headlining the inaugural festival is Noah Kahan, fresh off his fourth album The Great Divide. The lineup spans multiple genres—pop, rock, indie, folk, and country—and features artists including Gigi Perez, Sydney Rose, Arcy Drive, Bo Staloch, Devon Gilfilian, Derby, Calder Allen, and Michaela Anne. Performances will run throughout the day, culminating in a fireworks display after Kahan’s closing set.
The festival also includes branded experiences. Boston Beer Company plans a special release through its Dogfish Head label, while Scout Motors will host the “Tailgate Sessions Presented by Scout Motors,” featuring an intimate stage styled like a modern Americana garage.
Beyond the festival, Kahan is on the road with his global “The Great Divide Tour,” which just kicked-off June 11 in Orlando and will travel through major cities across North America before wrapping August 30 in Seattle. Gigi Perez will join him on all tour dates. He’s also slated for international shows across Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., Ireland, and Europe.
