The Academy of Country Music announced its lineup of special honorees for the upcoming 19th annual ACM Honors, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Aug. 19 at The Pinnacle in Nashville. ACM Honors recognizes outstanding achievements, philanthropic leadership, and significant contributions to the country music genre that extend outside regular competitive categories. Singer-songwriter Carly Pearce will return to host the festivities for her sixth consecutive year, sharing master of ceremonies duties with first-time co-host Parker McCollum.
Among those being recognized include Eric Church, who will receive the 2026 ACM Lifting Lives Award following his extensive disaster relief efforts in the southeastern United States. The Academy highlighted his response to Hurricane Helene, which featured his co-organization of the Concert for Carolina benefit, the dedication of all royalties from his song, “Darkest Hour,” and the housing initiatives launched through his Chief Cares non-profit organization.
Additionally, Kacey Musgraves will be honored with the ACM Spirit Award, which is “presented to an honoree that exemplifies Merle’s dedication to country music and passion for storytelling,” following the commercial success of her latest album, Middle of Nowhere.
The upcoming event will also officially celebrate previously determined winners from the 61st ACM Awards cycle. Ella Langley, who earned five trophies at the main ceremony earlier this year, will be celebrated as the ACM Artist-Songwriter of the Year. Additionally, Jessie Jo Dillon will be recognized as the ACM Songwriter of the Year.
