Country music icon Reba McEntire has expanded her ongoing monthly music capsule series with the release of Ain’t Gonna Keep It Waitin’ EP, a collection that pairs a brand-new recording with several fan-favorite songs from across her five-decade career. Released through MCA, the project centers on the new title track, “Ain’t Gonna Keep It Waitin’,” written by Brett Beavers, Connie Harrington and Kelley Lovelace, with production by Dave Cobb. The upbeat song sets the tone for an EP built around themes of open-road adventure and romance, while revisiting memorable recordings from throughout McEntire’s catalog.

The six-track release combines the new single with “I’d Rather Ride Around With You,” “Love Will Find Its Way To You,” “We’re So Good Together” and “Wrong Night,” highlighting different eras of McEntire’s career. The project marks the third installment in her 2026 music capsule series, following One Night In Tulsa EP and Hurt Like That EP, each designed around a distinct theme while introducing one newly recorded song alongside classic material.

The new EP follows another milestone for McEntire after she recently released two previously unheard recordings from her acclaimed Broadway run in Annie Get Your Gun, commemorating the 25th anniversary of her final performance in the production.
