Four-time Grammy Award nominee Ingrid Andress will return to the road this fall with her newly announced Nowhere Else to Go Tour, a run of intimate headlining shows that coincides with the next chapter of her career and the buildup to her forthcoming third studio album. The eight-city trek will visit Boise, Salt Lake City, Denver, Fort Collins, Washington, D.C., New York, Boston and Philadelphia.
The upcoming concerts will feature a full-band production while spotlighting new music expected to appear on Andress’ next album, the follow-up to Good Person and her debut, Lady Like. Andress previously released her latest track All The Best, a breakup song that balances sarcasm with emotional clarity. The song reframes post-relationship frustration through a sharp, ironic lens, as she wishes an ex well while subtly questioning what “best” really means. Ingrid explained the tone comes naturally to her, saying, “I wouldn’t consider myself a petty person, but I couldn’t help but write ‘All The Best’ the way that we did,” she says. “My friends and my therapist say I’m too sarcastic, so I would say this song’s tone is very ‘me’ in that way. I’m at a point in my life where I don’t get overly angry at someone if the relationship doesn’t work out, just annoyed. I’m too tired to be overly angry, so consider this a playful breakup song.” Stream ‘All The Best’ – HERE.
The release of ‘All The Best‘ as well as the new tour news also arrived after Andress wrapped her six-city Low-Key Sessions tour, a series of stripped-back performances that gave fans an early look at new material, as well as several unreleased songs. Before launching the tour, Andress is also set to headline a special performance at Nashville Underplay at 6th and Peabody on Wednesday, July 15th, continuing a return to live shows centered on the candid songwriting and emotional performances that helped establish her as one of country music’s standout singer-songwriters.
