Niall Horan will add another milestone to his evolving career this summer when he makes his debut one of country music’s most revered stages, the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. The former One Direction member is scheduled to appear at the historic country music institution on July 7, marking his first official performance on the famed radio broadcast as he continues to deepen his ties to the country music community. The Irish singer-songwriter’s debut also aligns with the Opry’s ongoing centennial celebration, highlighting a year of high-profile events honoring its 100th anniversary.
The July 7 Opry lineup features a blend of longtime members and mainstream talent. Horan will share the evening with seasoned country performers including Rhonda Vincent and Charlie McCoy, alongside modern acts like Tommy Emmanuel, Theo Lawrence, and Karley Scott Collins. The institution’s milestone season is also set to feature appearances from diverse public figures and musicians like Tanya Tucker, Tori Kelly, Dennis Quaid, and Charlie Worsham in the following weeks.
Horan’s upcoming performance follows his recent venture into the country music scene, highlighted by a collaboration with multi-Platinum artist Thomas Rhett. The pair recently teamed up for a new version of Rhett’s popular track, “Old Tricks.” Beyond the Opry stage, Horan and Rhett are slated to share the ticket for two major stadium shows this summer, including a stop at Nashville’s GEODIS Park on July 9 and a performance at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania on July 18.
Additionally, Horan’s performance serves as a prelude to a busy touring schedule for the artist, who released his fourth solo studio album, Dinner Party earlier this year. Horan is scheduled to launch his comprehensive “Dinner Party Live On Tour” on September 22 in Birmingham, England. The international arena circuit will progress across Europe before crossing into North America in March 2027, with high-profile stops planned at New York’s Barclays Center and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Tickets for all tour dates are available on NiallHoran.com.
